Believe it or not, Robert Barranco does more than smearing peanut butter in his face and doing deadly cavemans. While most "Day in the Life's" are overly glamorized and have people making their days seem way cooler than normal, this is pretty much realistic. If anything, Bert normally get's into even more adventures late at night, but I cut off the filming at like 2AM because I had to get up early the next day. Bert is an awesome kid who really knows how to have a good time, and I think he is a perfect example of how we all need to take a step back sometimes and not take things so seriously. Bert may not have the best tricks or the best style, but he is 100% one of my favorite riders because he is a great reminder that you don't need to be the best BMX rider to get somewhere with it.
I wasn't really in the video much for a couple reasons. Obviously I was filming the whole time, and I also have a pretty bad heel issue that I will talk about in the next weekly update. It was actually kind-of fun to be behind the scenes for once.
If any of you have filmed or edited before, you know how much work it is to put together a 3 minute video. Now imagine a 30 minute video.... I pretty much set aside an entire weekend to put this together because I really wanted to make it awesome. Sesame Street
Sesame Street is a long-running American children's television series created by Joan Ganz Cooney and Lloyd Morrisett. The program is known for its educational content, and images communicated through the use of Jim Henson's Muppets, animation, short films, humor, and cultural references. The series premiered on November 10, 1969, to positive reviews, some controversy, and high viewership; it has aired on the U.S.'s national public television provider (PBS) since its debut, with its first run moving to premium channel HBO on January 16, 2016.
The show has undergone significant changes throughout its history. The format of Sesame Street consists of a combination of commercial television production elements and techniques which have evolved to reflect the changes in American culture and the audience's viewing habits. With the creation of Sesame Street, producers and writers of a children's television show used, for the first time, educational goals and a curriculum to shape its content. Bert Kreischer
Albert "Bert" "The Machine" Kreischer is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and reality television host. In 1997, as a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, he was featured in Rolling Stone as "the top partier" at Florida State University, the "top party school in the US", while he was in his sixth year of college. The Rolling Stone article was the inspiration for the 2002 movie Van Wilder. From 2000 to 2001, he was the co-host of the FX Network variety show The X Show. A segment that aired on the show, "Ass Wax", where Kreischer had his hair removed with hot wax, led Kreischer to gain his own show on the FX Network, titled Hurt Bert, in 2004. In the same year, he had a role in an episode of the police drama The Shield.
Kreischer claims that on a college field trip to Russia, he drank with the Russian mob (after accidentally introducing himself with the phrase "Я машина") and even participated in a robbery while intoxicated. He talked about these exploits on June 5, 2006 on Loveline; on January 14, 2011, on DC101's Elliot in the Morning; April 5, 2011, on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast #95; Opie and Anthony on June 28, 2011; WTF with Marc Maron on January 9, 2012; WMMR's Preston and Steve Show on January 12, 2012; on The Todd and Tyler Radio Empire on August 2, 2012; and on WIYY/98 Rock's Morning Show Mickey, Amelia, and Spiegel.

The first appearance on screen for Bert Ljung, a normal teenager who's diary Swedes have been able to follow in well over ten books now. As in the books, he fights spots, looks for girls, runs his moped, plays with his weird friends Ake and Erik, and a lot of other stuff teenagers are supposed to do.

Bert may not have the best tricks or the best style, but he is 100% one of my favorite riders because he is a great reminder that you don't need to be the best BMX rider to get somewhere with it.
I wasn't really in the video much for a couple reasons. Obviously I was filming the whole time, and I also have a pretty bad heel issue that I will talk about in the next weekly update. It was actually kind-of fun to be behind the scenes for once.
If any of you have filmed or edited before, you know how much work it is to put together a 3 minute video. Now imagine a 30 minute video.... I pretty much set aside an entire weekend to put this together because I really wanted to make it awesome. I wasn't really in the video much for a couple reasons. Obviously I was filming the whole time, and I also have a pretty bad heel issue that I will talk about in the next weekly update. It was actually kind-of fun to be behind the scenes for once.
If any of you have filmed or edited before, you know how much work it is to put together a 3 minute video. Now imagine a 30 minute video.... I pretty much set aside an entire weekend to put this together because I really wanted to make it awesome.
